Acrisure, LLC hosts Healthcare Seminar

Woodbridge, NJ – Acrisure hosted a seminar on June 17, 2015 to discuss upcoming changes to federal healthcare reform.
More than 100 persons representing both public and private sector clients attended the event. The session focused on upcoming Affordable Care Act reporting requirements as well as other current healthcare reform concerns. Several implementation guidelines, compliance matters, and health strategies were included within the overall discussion.
New Jersey Assemblyman Craig Coughlin, Chair of the Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee, delivered remarks regarding current healthcare changes in New Jersey. Sara Tountas, Director of Health Reform and Benefits Compliance for Acrisure discussed upcoming reporting requirements for Internal Revenue Service forms 1094-C and 1095-C. After providing background information, she presented an in-depth discussion on who must report, line by line details of the necessary forms, and a timeframe for completion.
